The recruitment process is divided into 4 stages:

  1. Application selection
  2. First interview with the consulting department management
  3. Task
  4. Second interview with the PMR Board
  1. Application selection

    Although we believe that a meeting is the best way of getting to know each other unfortunately it is not possible to invite all candidates. To increase your chances first of all try to think about whether this is the kind of job and company you would like to work for. If the answer is yes, then take a closer look at our expectations and in your applications try to highlight those merits that could create value for our company.

  2. First interview with the consulting department management

    Since our clients are mostly top international executives the level of professional knowledge and market awareness of our consultants is key to our company. That is why you can expect questions about your business knowledge but don't await a written test with 100 questions and a stopwatch in our hands. It is not another exam and there is no book you should read before the interview.

    In order to be a good consultant professional knowledge is not enough. It is also essential to have the ability to share this knowledge. Consulting means helping. To be able to help someone means you must understand their needs - this is why your listening skills are important. Also it is not easy to share your ideas with others. Foreign language ability as well as strong interpersonal skills is key to being a successful consultant. This is why we try to learn as much as we can about you during our meeting.

    The best tip we can give is to "be yourself".

  3. Task

    We already know something about your personality and we would like to see how you work. We will appreciate it if you are willing to spend about 5 hours on the task that will give us an indication of how good you are in market research, drawing conclusions and presenting your findings.

    Although this kind of work will be part of your daily responsibilities, we are aware that you don't know how we do things and we don't expect you to meet "PMR standards" the first time - this is something you will learn. There is no single good approach or result and we won't tell you exactly how to do it. The only hint we can give you is to try to imagine that we represent a foreign company and you have to present us with a report which will create added value. The information should not only be useful but also presented clearly.

  4. Second interview with the PMR Board

    The reason why PMR Consulting is so successful is the fact that the Board has always paid particular attention to hiring the best people. Even though these are busy businessmen they always find time to meet the best candidates before signing a contract.

    Again, there are no rules you have to follow during the interview. General suggestions are similar as for the first interview. Be professional but be natural!
