Institutional environment and infrastructural investment market in Central-Eastern Europe

The client wished to have a better understanding of the current state on the infrastructural construction market in Central-Eastern Europe, as well as of prevailing trends. Therefore, the client commissioned PMR to conduct an analysis of selected construction market segments, with particular emphasis placed on the regulatory environment, competitive environment and construction carried out in the power industry, environmental protection, rail and road segments.
As part of the project, PMR conducted an extensive analysis of the institutional environment, both domestic and EU, which affects the development of the analyzed segments of infrastructure construction in each of the countries analyzed. The project also included an analysis of the competitive environment in the general contracting in selected segments and provided the client with information on the market position of major players and their most significant construction projects.

The client received a cross-sectional analysis of the infrastructural construction market in Central-Eastern Europe, covering various aspects of the market and regulatory environment, thanks to which the client will be able to make business decisions regarding development in selected segments in each country. Additionally, the client received compendium of knowledge on both ongoing and planned major infrastructure projects in Poland, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia.
