Client's need
PMR Consulting was approached by a long-term client for support in the launch of new products. Our client, a manufacturer of roofing tiles, was very satisfied with previous work and encouraged by the results of a previous study which showed the initial directions which the company’s product development should follow.
Our deliverables
The research was carried out in 3 Central and Eastern European countries. It’s main goal was to gather feedback from various market players on the existing products which the company offers, along with comments on our client’s product ideas. PMR consultants organised interviews with construction companies, home owners and the distributors of construction materials in 3 CEE countries. The client was very happy with the analysis, which contributed to their new product development in the region.
Value for the client
The client obtained greater insight into the roofing solution preferences of various decision makers on the CEE market, in addition to valuable suggestions pertaining to the direction of product development. The results of the market research showed differences in roofing solution preferences in the 3 CEE countries. The report delivered to the client was shared with a number of people within the organisation, to permit concrete decisions on new product development.
