Karol Kołt
President and Managing Director
Karol Kołt studied international management in Krakow and at universities in Frankfurt Am Main and Nürnberg. Prior to joining PMR, Karol worked with senior managers at many German-based companies.
He began his career at PMR in the consulting department, where he worked on a wide range of competitive intelligence, sourcing and strategic consultancy projects. He was soon promoted to the position of Head of Consulting Services. In 2006, Karol was appointed to the position of Vice President of the PMR Management Board. In February 2007, Karol was elevated to the position of President of PMR, a role he took up while also being appointed the company's Managing Director. Karol's responsibilities include the management and overseeing of the company's operations and the implementation of its growth strategy. In business, he is a keen advocate of the straight-forward approach defined as the 'getting things done' approach to doing business.
Karol's ambition is to support PMR's dynamic growth while ensuring that it remains a valuable business partner that is appreciated by its clients and is also a great place to work for talented individuals.
Bartosz Kondaszewski
Head of Consulting Services
Bartosz functional expertise focuses on both buy-side and sell-side transactional advisory, valuation and business modelling projects as well as commercial due diligence for investment decision purposes. In terms of industry expertise he worked among others in metal industry, FMCG, IT and construction. He has worked on domestic, regional and global transactions including cross-boarder deals in USA, EU, CIS and Asia.
Prior to joining PMR he worked for a one of the leading Polish M&A Boutiques as Senior Consultant and for Citi Group in Risk Assessment Department.
Bartosz holds a master degree in Finance and Banking (with a specialisation in investment strategies) and a bachelor degree in computer science in management, both from the Kozminski University in Warsaw. Bartosz is also a holder of an international accounting and finance qualification (ACCA). Currently he is during his PhD in economics studies with the dissertation focused on CEE M&A transactions characteristics.
Bartosz speaks Polish, English and German.
Agnieszka Kurzemska
Senior Consultant
Mainly, Agnieszka worked in the telecommunications, energy & utilities, construction, FMCG and retail sectors. Her functional practice includes sourcing and cost optimization, strategy building and development, due diligence, IT systems audit, market entry feasibility, competitive analysis projects. She has taken part in a number of projects in the Polish, Czech, Russian and other CEE markets.
Before joining PMR, Agnieszka worked for one of the biggest international management consulting companies.
She studied sociology and philosophy at Jagiellonian University in Krakow.
Agnieszka speaks Polish and English and to some extent French, Russian and German.
Bojan Tatalovic
Senior Consultant
Bojan's functional expertise aids in the delivery of strategic advice to clients within the areas of business strategy development, strategic sourcing, supply chain reconfiguration, market and strategic marketing research and financial modeling of new ventures. In terms of industry expertise Bojan has worked, among others, in the renewable energy industry, commercial and residential real estate development, FMCG and apparel. He has considerable work experience in South Eastern Europe and Central America.
Prior to joining PMR he was active as a developer of renewable energy projects. He also worked for a joint venture of a leading American investment bank as Asset Manager and Acquisitions Analyst and had a few previous consulting professional assignments related to inward FDI in the region of South Eastern Europe.
Bojan holds a Masters in Global Management, acquired at the Antwerp Management School in Belgium, prior to which he studied at the Faculty of Economics in Macedonia, majoring in International Trade.
He speaks English, Spanish, Serbian and Macedonian.
Magdalena Nizińska
Senior Consultant
Magdalena has significant experience in coordinating market research and competitive intelligence projects. She is an expert in gathering information on the basis of desk research, as well as through in-depth interviews. This, combined with high analytical skills, guarantees delivery of high quality reports with strategic recommendations. She is specialized in the field of pharmaceuticals and healthcare market, but she has also decent expertise in construction and FMCG.
Prior to joining PMR, Magdalena worked in a translations office and in an Italian consulting company operating in the field of lean transformations.
Magdalena graduated from Krakow University of Economics in the field of international relations. Moreover, she studied at Universita Politecnica delle Marche in Ancona, Italy and she also obtained an MA in international management at Istituto Adriano Olivetti di Ancona.
Magdalena speaks native Polish, as well as fluent English, German, Italian and she is able to communicate in Russian.
Naira Aslanian
Senior Consultant
Naira Aslanian's functional expertise focuses on market research, competitor analysis, business assistance and negotiations, distributor and partner search, as well as IPO. In terms of industry expertise she has worked, among others, in retail, construction, pharmaceuticals, heavy industry, and ICT. She has worked on Russia, Ukraine, Belorussia, other CIS and other Western European countries.
Prior to joining PMR she worked at the National Treasury of South Africa, where she carried out sector research and analysis and participated in economic policy formulation. Naira has also worked as a business development manager in the retail and luxury goods sector in South Africa.
Naira holds an Honours Degree in Econometrics and Economics from the University of Johannesburg.
Naira speaks English, Russian, Armenian and Polish.
Tomasz Weigensperg
Senior Consultant
Tomasz's functional expertise includes in-depth market research and analysis, with special focus on post Soviet countries. Additionally, he has wide experience in the optimisation of distribution channels and purchasing strategy evaluation projects, including sourcing opportunities evaluation, partner search and selection, as well as supplier qualification process evaluation. In terms of industry expertise Tomasz has worked in the construction, steel and machinery industries. He has also been involved in a number of market studies within the retail and FMCG sectors.
Prior to joining PMR he worked for a worldwide leader in RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) services.
Tomasz holds a masters degree in Russian Studies from Jagellonian University and a bachelor degree in International Relations from the Tischner European University in Krakow. Currently, he is completing his second MA degree in International Projects Management.
Tomasz speaks Polish, English and Russian.
Jan Kotarba
Consultant
Jan has carried out projects for international companies from the CEE region. He has experience in conducting market research, competitive intelligence studies and other business consulting services including Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) advisory in sectors such as construction and retail. In terms of geographical scope the projects Jan has taken part in have covered countries in Central and Eastern Europe as well as Central Asia, in particular Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
Prior to joining PMR, Jan completed two internships in St. Petersburg and Kiev working for AIESEC projects in the field of financial management.
Jan studied at Krakow's Jagiellonian University, where he gained his BA degree in the field of Russian studies. Currently, he is continuing his Master studies in International Economic Relations at Krakow's Economic University.
Jan speaks native Polish, as well as fluent Russian and English.
Olga Zaporozhets
Consultant
Olga's functional expertise embraces market and competitive analysis, customer needs and segmentation analysis, marketing and branding, strategic planning and business process redesign. In terms of industry expertise she has worked in the retail industry, construction and healthcare sectors. She has carried out projects in Ukraine and Russia.
Olga holds a bachelors degree in Intercultural Communication and a masters degree in Central and Eastern European Studies, from Kyiv National Shevchenko University in Ukraine, Otto-Friendrich-University of Bamberg in Germany and Jagiellonian University in Poland. Currently, she is doing post-graduate studies in Finance and Banking at Kozminski University in Warsaw.
