Report on professional products for hair care in five major European markets

Client's problem:

The client needed a full scope of both desk research and interviews, as well as some fieldwork including store checks to be conducted in order to prepare a comprehensive and in-depth report on the market for professional products for hair care which would subsequently help major players on global cosmetics markets to take strategic decisions regarding these European markets.

Our solution:

Thanks to our international background and the language capabilities of our consultants, PMR was able to put together a project team of native speakers as well as people fluent in English, German, Italian, Spanish and French. Thanks to that approach we were able to research in local languages and provide additional insights on all the markets.

Our consultants conducted a number of interviews with top-level executives from companies marketing the products in question, conducted extensive desk research, visited relevant trade shows as well as hair salons in various countries. Based on the information gathered through primary and secondary research, PMR was able to put together a detailed report of several hundred pages, discussing major players on the market as well as product trends and market forecasts for the five-year period

PMR delivered a detailed report together with an Excel database providing detailed sales figures for all the markets in question.
