Client's problem:

Our client, a Western European clothing manufacturer representing a well-known clothing label, wanted to develop its stores in several Eastern European countries, including Poland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Hungary and Baltic States. The company wished to identify the key players in the fashion retail sector who could become their partners in the region.

Our solution:

Within a very short period of time our consultants - native speakers of languages in those countries where the research was conducted - identified, through desk research as well as interviews with all the companies, potentially suitable partners for our client. The client had several requirements from these companies, including their size, experience in the sector as well as brands operated, and our consultants needed to screen the players in each market according to these categories.

What the client received through this project:

PMR Consulting prepared a list of those fashion retail operators meeting our client's requirements. Each company's description included not only their contact details and general profile but also more detailed information required, as well as details of a contact person for future direct discussions with our client. Upon project completion the client had all the background information necessary to pre-select its partners in the region's different countries.
