Our solution:
PMR consultants identified key opinion leaders and distributors and conducted in-depth phone interviews with them in order to find out more information about the market and trends. The interviews helped us to determine and describe the medical devices used in hospitals, purchasing processes and plans, as well as the preferences of the physicians.
For this project it was crucial that interviews with Chief of Wards be conducted, as only they can have a direct influence on decision-making processes. Their opinion is the most important for a manufacturer.
PMR consultants also used secondary data available in local business publications and official databases to give a better understanding of the Hungarian economic, business and political environment.
How the project ended:
PMR contacted physicians from the most relevant hospitals and, based on the interviews and secondary sources, prepared estimates of the number and type of medical devices used in Hungarian hospitals. PMR also provided forecasts regarding the evolution of the market. An important part of the study was describing physicians' product and purchasing condition preferences, as this provided our client with valuable insights, helping them to develop the best communication and marketing strategy for the Hungarian market.
Delivery time:
2 months
What the client received through this project:
The client received a report, including detailed information on the economical, business, political and legal environments in Hungary, an analysis of the given medical device market, and user preferences.
PMR also prepared a PowerPoint presentation which was presented during a phone conference.
