Our solution:
Firstly, PMR Consultants focused on the Bulgarian market, due to the fact that client's competitors were already well established there and urgent action was required. PMR Consultants evaluated the Bulgarian market in order to find the best potential partners for the client and came up with a long list of 8 companies that initially met the client's requirements. After the elimination process, we came up with a shortlist of three potential distributors. PMR organized meetings with them and subsequently made evaluations, therefore providing the client with business assistance in Bulgaria. After finishing the search in Bulgaria, Croatia was next. The client was so confident in the cooperation with PMR that they had already given their existing distributor contract termination notice. The methodology used to identify new potential distributors was identical to that of Bulgaria and just as successful. PMR Consultants also provided business assistance to the client in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia and helped during the negotiations process.
How the project ended:
The distributor search ended successfully in both countries. Furthermore the chosen distributor in Croatia had a presence in all of the countries of the former Yugoslavia. Thus by the identification of one company in Croatia, the client had already established its presence in a further five countries it was interested in.
Delivery time:
Including business assistance, the whole distributor search project was carried out in four weeks per country.
What the client received through this project:
The client received market intelligence regarding the Balkan queue management market and its key players. The client also obtained detailed profiles of potential candidates and strategic advice regarding the best way to make an immediate impact on the markets in Bulgaria and Croatia.
