 Client's problem:
Our client is one of the biggest companies involved in the oil and gas industry in the world. The company decided to improve its supply chain management by finding more suppliers able to deliver a particular chemical product. As potential new suppliers could be found in CEE countries, PMR was asked to conduct research. |
Our solution:
PMR Consultants organized a teleconference with the client in order to better understand its needs. According to the chemical specification provided by the client, PMR, through desk-research, identified companies which produce the required raw material. In the second stage, based on conducted interviews we selected the most promising potential partners. We evaluated the companies' interest in cooperating with our client, as well as their quality management and production capabilities. The research was conducted in the Baltic countries, the Balkans, Romania, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.
How the project ended:
PMR Consultants prepared both pdf and excel files including all necessary company information, including chemical specifications of the companies' products and their annual production capacity.

What the client received through this project:
The result of the study has been presented to the client both in database form, as a list of companies as well as a further steps recommendation.
